Paediatric Physiotherapy Associates works closely with children and families to provide assessment, treatment and ongoing education for a wide variety of paediatric conditions including:
- Infant development
- Neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, acquired brain injury
- Gross and Fine motor delays
- Handwriting difficulties
- Hypotonia
- Genetic Disorders and congenital conditions
- Balance and Co-ordination difficulties
- Torticollis and plagiocephaly
- Incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction
- Orthopaedic conditions such as joint hypermobility, muscle weakness, idiopathic toe walking, postural issues, recovery post fracture, sports injuries, chronic pain
- Post procedure or surgery such as Botox, orthopedic surgery, selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR)
- De-conditioning from prolonged illness or hospitalization
- Sensory Issues
- Feeding difficulties
- Play-based learning, social, cognitive and communication challenges
- Assistance with Activities of daily living
- Acute and chronic chest conditions
- Need for adapted or specialized equipment
