Sarah graduated from Queen’s University in 2016 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Sarah’s passion to work with children led her to pursue her career with a specialization in paediatrics. She has experience working in various settings such as: home care, private practice, and a pre-school for kids with special needs. Sarah has accumulated experience in working with children who have a variety of conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, pre and post SDR, genetic conditions, low muscle tone, gross motor delay, developmental coordination disorders, general balance and coordination difficulties and toe walking, among other conditions. Sarah believes in identifying the child’s needs early to provide the most effective treatment to help the child reach their fullest potential-all while providing it through a fun and creative way to allow kids to be kids while receiving their therapy. in addition to supporting and equipping parents and/or guardians to help care for their child. Sarah uses a variety of treatment methods including CME, DMI, K-tape, FES, orthotic garments, Universal cage and primitive reflex integration. Sarah likes to further her knowledge and expertise to provide evidence-based, best-practice care for clients through ongoing mentorship and courses. Sarah is a registered physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Sarah provides therapy at our clinic location in Whitby.
