Rebecca graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2012, after completing her Honours Specialization Bachelor of Arts Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in 2010. She developed her passion for paediatric physiotherapy through her involvement in programming at Grandview Children’s Centre summer camps. She has worked at SickKids hospital in the intensive care unit, paediatric medicine, neurology, respirology, cardiology, oncology, and burns/plastics. She currently works with the York Region School Board. Rebecca has taken courses in neurodevelopmental therapy, breathing mechanics and postural control, ankle and foot deformities, and gait analysis and intervention with ankle- foot orthoses. She is a guest lecturer with the University of Toronto’s physical therapy class and holds a status appointment with the Department of Rehabilitation. Rebecca is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Rebecca provides home visits in York and Durham region (Markham, Pickering, Ajax, Uxbridge, Claremont).
