Neha Rane Physiotherapist
Neha has been working as a paediatric physiotherapist ever since graduating from the University of Mumbai in 1995. She started her journey in a charitable organization in Mumbai devoted to treating children with special needs and providing much needed guidance to their families. In this role she worked with children with a wide variety of diagnoses such as neurological and genetic conditions, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders and autism. Neha then moved to Qatar and worked as a member of the Early Intervention Program at Rumailah Hospital. Currently she works in the community doing both school based physiotherapy and private clinic-based therapy. She enjoys working as a member of a team with other professionals, where she can collaborate to achieve functional and family centred goals. Neha has completed numerous courses and workshops to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field, some of which include: Dynamic Core for Kids and Application to Baby Treatment Dynamic core for Kids - Pelvic Floor Edition Physical Therapy in Autism Spectrum Disorders Every motor event is a sensory event first Breathing and Postural Control Therapeutic Evaluation and treatment of Paediatric gait Torticollis - Assessment and treatment of Infants and Children Infant Sensory Integration Training Sensory Integration Therapy in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders Neha is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario. She provides home visits in Mississauga and Etobicoke.
