Mariella completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto after obtaining her Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Health Studies at the University of Waterloo. Mariella has worked in a variety of settings with paediatric populations, including the City of Toronto Adaptive and Inclusive Services as Program Director for Camp and Group Programs, at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in the Snoezelen Aquatic Program and has now combined all of those passions into her role as an Occupational Therapist. Mariella is passionate about providing child and family-centred care that reflects each child’s and family’s unique needs and goals. Mariella completed OT placements at Scarborough Health Network, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, in Sault Ste. Marie working alongside Community Paramedics and finished off her final placement with us at PPA! She is excited to join the team now as a clinician. Outside of the OT world, Mariella loves hiking with her dog Nala, watching sports (Go Bills! Go Blue Jays! Go Maple Leafs!), and going to concerts in Toronto!
