Profile

Juliana graduated in 2003, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, in Brazil. She worked for thirteen years in a leading rehabilitation hospital in Brazil, of which nine years were in the area of paediatrics in outpatient and inpatient settings. She has experience with children with a variety of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmental delay. In Canada, she graduated from the Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging (OIEPB) Program through the University of Toronto in Feb 2019, where in addition to learning more about the Canadian healthcare system, she gained Canadian workplace experience, including an internship at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital at the Neuromuscular and Neuromotor Programs. Juliana is currently working at Sickkids and is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists. Juliana provides home visits in Toronto.
