Erica graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, and she received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science. She has worked at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital on the Specialized Orthopaedic Developmental Rehab Inpatient unit where she provided treatment for a variety of paediatric specialities, some of which include: cerebral palsy, developmental delays, spinal cord injuries, oncology, orthopaedics, and trauma. She also has experience in orthopaedic private practice where she treated many young athletes and those with postural weaknesses. Erica currently works in Early Intervention in York Region. Erica values post-graduate education and is continuing to take courses to advance her clinical reasoning. She has completed training in Postural Control Strategies, Neurokinetic Therapy, Kinesiotaping, Level 1 Manual Therapy, and has completed a certificate course in Neurodevelopmental Therapy. Erica is very passionate about working with the paediatric population and their families to empower and educate them on optimizing their quality of life and function. Erica is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Erica provides home visits in Thornhill and Richmond Hill.
