Emma is currently a second-year student in the Masters in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. Originally from Calgary Alberta, Emma completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours in Kinesiology with a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity. Emma has experience working as a physical activity coach, a physiotherapy assistant and most recently as a physiotherapy and occupational therapy clinical extern at a Toronto Hospital. She completed a 6-week student placement at Paediatric Physiotherapy Associates in 2023. Outside of school and work Emma enjoys cooking and baking, crafting, or getting active with a run or some yoga. Emma has a longstanding passion for working in paediatrics and is always excited to get creative and have fun within physiotherapy. Emma provides hydrotherapy services as a physiotherapy assistant at the Variety Village clinic location.
