Chanelle has an occupational therapy/physiotherapy assistant diploma from Humber College and obtained her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Brock University. She is a recent graduate from Humber College, where she had the privilege of completing placements at Toronto General Hospital, St. Michael’s Hospital, and SickKids. During these experiences, she gained acute care exposure across a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, oncology, hemodialysis, transplant, specialized seating, and neurotrauma. Chanelle currently works at St. Michael’s Hospital in the oncology unit. Chanelle grew up doing competitive dance for 18 years, which helped foster her passion for movement, discipline, and overall wellness—values she continues to carry in her work in rehab therapy. When she’s not working, she enjoys staying active through Pilates, running, and spin, as well as spending time with her friends. Chanelle works as an occupational therapy and physiotherapy assistant at the Variety Village clinic.
