Anessa holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology with High Honours from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Anessa volunteered in various paediatric settings, including Variety Village and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. During her Master's degree, she completed a 7-week clinical placement at Grandview Kids, where she worked with children with neuromuscular conditions, delivering facility and in-home therapy sessions. Outside of work, Anessa enjoys traveling, taking spin and pilates classes, and spending time with her family and friends. She is deeply passionate about family-centered care, with a commitment to prioritizing each child’s unique needs, abilities, and goals. Anessa looks forward to providing engaging, individualized care in her role as a physiotherapy resident, offering home visits in North York and Scarborough. In addition to her role with PPA, she works at a paediatric rehabilitation center and an acute care hospital. Anessa is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists.
