Occupational Therapist

Maryam completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University, after earning a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Medical Physiology from the University of Waterloo. She has gained valuable experience through her OT placement at Grandview Kids, specifically working in the School-Based Rehabilitation program. Maryam is passionate about helping children achieve functional goals and engage in meaningful occupations. Currently, she works in an adult hospital setting. Outside of work, Maryam is an avid community volunteer and coaches youth ball hockey. She also enjoys traveling and exploring different cuisines. Maryam is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Maryam offers home visits in Scarborough and also sees children at the Variety Village clinic.
