Ashley graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2018 after completing her B.A.(Hon) in Psychology and Political Studies at Queen’s University. Ashley’s passion for the OT profession began through her volunteering in an adapted aquatics program and her work as an Occupational Therapist Assistant from 2012-2019. She has experience working in private paediatric settings. Ashley is dedicated to helping children reach their goals and participate in activities that are important to them. She has completed many postgraduate courses including DIRFloortime 201 Basic Certificate, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Level 1 Certificate, and Therapeutic Listening, as well as numerous courses in sensory integration, attachment and trauma, self-regulation, and paediatric mental health. Ashely is also certified in the delivery of the Safe and Sound Protocol. She has experience providing treatment in clinic, home, and school environments. Ashley is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and she provides therapy at our Variety Village location as well as home visits in the east Toronto area.
